DID YOU KNOW?
Cork contains a natural waxy substance called suberin within its cellular structure. Suberin makes cork naturally moisture resistant, helping maintain traction between your skin and the mat. This is why cork yoga mats become even grippier as you sweat, making them ideal for hot yoga and vigorous practices. Suberin also gives cork its natural antimicrobial properties, helping repel bacteria, mold, and fungus while reducing odor buildup, keeping your mat fresh and clean with minimal maintenance.
