Yoga Wheel Workshop - Journey to the Handstand PART 2
Join us to discover a simpler way to master the handstand using the yoga wheel, a well rounded prop that will take your practice to the next level! In this three part informative and intensive series we will work our way up from building our core and arm strength in part one, focusing on the chest/back strength and simple arm balancing in part two, and moving into handstand fundamentals, proper alignment with and without the yoga wheel and handstand execution in part three!
PART TWO: In the second installment of this series, we will focus on drills that build the build the chest and back muscles, while creating space in the heart space and along the spine. We will discuss safety, anatomy, alignment, muscle memory, and how to build strength. We will also take a deeper look at drills and flows to aid our growth beyond the studio.
Each class will end with a short focused flow. This focus flow will be designed to build and open the chest and back..
